Good questions and suggestions, all

We will see about a conference line or a G+ Hangout -- ping me on G+ or FB-- we'll hook it up.  If not,we can use  Skype or ooVoo and get many of our colleagues worldwide, near and far, in on the discussion.

Attention Vroomers!

You've heard about it or read about it on this list; Customer Commons will be a natural follow on project, with roots in Project VRM. This will be Doc's next area of focus.

This coming Monday (the day before IIW) there will be the first open meeting and work session for Customer Commons.

The meeting Monday is at the Computer History Museum, from 9AM to 1PM.  It will be in one of the function rooms, most likely on the second floor.  Just ask at the CHM desk, they'll know where to direct you.

The meeting is for developers and those interested in working on Customer Commons --not idle conceptualizing or groovy chatter -- this is a work session, a planning session,  Serious business, regarding setting up and getting Customer Commons going.  A Commons in which the individual is empowered.  If you've been reading Doc's and Craig's pieces here about Emancipay (and other user generated, user in charge, user at the helm initiatives and dev work), then imagine this being the beginning and early stages of an enabling initiative for such work and actions.

We want you to attend if you are ready to roll up your sleeves, pitch in, and help get this started.  Not to be too heavy handed. but please note; this is a working meeting, not a social occasion.  If you want to be part of Customer Commons --and not just a member of the Peanut Gallery-- come and join us.

You can email me or Doc for details. Doc is a little overwhelmed with completing the book (and more) and I am  trying to clear the decks in advance of this week-long west coast trip -- but we have time for those who want to be a part of this.

See you there.  And if you can't make this meeting but want to be involved, send me a note. We'll be starting a list and getting this into high gear,in short order.  And soon!

Regards to all,
