Simple idea:
Change the V for Vendor to T for Transaction: TRM
If it's about leveling the playing field, then the emphasis should be on the
transactions, not "vendors" vs "customers" (or vice versa).
Transactions can thereby become conversations, rather than being mired in the
issue of control.
