Hi Doc - responding to you including PrivacyBadger lists about sites visited or pointed at by others here...

Remember my "Privacy Buddy" idea from IIW Spring 2018?
The one where a browser extension pops up and 'reminds' you that even though it might seem like a good idea to click "I Accept" on the web site right now, here are the reasons to NOT do it that you asked Privacy Buddy to remind you of when things went pear-shaped last time.  :)

Well, entangled in that theme was the idea to have an anonymous registry of sites & whether their terms are positive, neutral or negative for the user. Totally unrealistic, due to bots, machine parsing, liability, etc, of course :)

BUT it does occur to me that if a tool like Privacy Badger emitted a stream of tracker lists and origins, that it couldn't be **that** hard for a data wizard to create a searchable, filter-able pool of data that lets folks explore what web sites are surveilling using particular tools, without having to be exposed to every site on the internet.

Has anyone on this list heard of any project similar to this concept?
Anyone want to build it?

andrew.
