In the news recently:
"Verizon is going to keep all of its precious consumer
data to itself, creating another walled garden in
advertising, which, the company hopes, helps it rival
Facebook and Google."

And the big holders of PII collected from first
parties, Google and Facebook, don't share it.
Users don't like data leakage either.
Who's missing? Publishers.
Data about yourself that you reveal by browsing your
local newspaper site is an asset, but probably not
for the newspaper.
