Hi All,
What do folks think about an online unconference for the VRM community? I co-facilitated
one unconference last week for the Open Space community that had 65 participants and it happened around the clock for 90 hours. That format let the truly global nature of that community shine through; it was lots of fun!
For the VRM community, I'm thinking our first online unconference could last 24 hours and would cost $24. Participants would attend as few or as many sessions as they like. Sessions would consist of audio breakout groups, screensharing, link sharing, collaborative notes, and optional video.
What would you want to get out of such an event? What are your thoughts on pricing? What is the best time of year?
The first unconference I ever attended was the 2008 VRM Workshop, and now that I make unconference software, I'd love to bring it back to where I started. Do you think it's worth a try?
