Again with the "running shoes" (well, "gear" here,
but same idea.)
Quick test for all Online Behavioral Advertising
press releases.
Does it still sound fine if you take the targeting
example and replace "running" with "drinking"
and "shoes" with "whiskey"?
If so, then ship it.
(Also, if I have a store, I'm supposed to pay IBM
and Facebook for expensive computer stuff, and then
use it to "offer deals on apparel"? Let me get
this straight. I'm supposed to give computer nerds
money (which means less money for me) to use a system
that will enable me to charge customers lower prices
(also less money for me). How is this supposed to
work, again?)

We saw how well that worked for Target.
