Johannes, how did you come to realize you had a choice in MRI lab? That you

might want one? That moment is the one to invest in.
I asked myself “How much do I really want that MRI? Is it worth $1600+?”
because whether you have one or not, the treatment options for spine problems
are about the same: surgery (painful, recovery period, expensive, some
short-term relief but little/no longer-term improvement compared to
non-surgery) or “tough it out with exercise”.
I came down on “not $1600 worth much”. So I looked for alternatives. $326
produces an entirely different answer: I figured I’m interested enough to
just see what hurts for that amount, even if it does not change the treatment.
This is a case where more information for the customer actually grows the
market in volume, perhaps not in revenue though.
Cheers,
Johannes.
