Intel has Yocto Linux-based IoT hardware. ARM has Linux-based IoT
hardware. Microsoft just made Windows 10 available for Rasberry Pi 2 for
IoT-centric use. So far, seems pretty similar to existing embedded
system infrastructure, pre-'IoT' buzzword invention. :-)

This FTC IoT privacy/security info is nice. PDF is dated Jan 2015,
unlike URL Nov 2013 date.
