Mayer said that the personalized Internet “is a better Internet,” emphasizing: “We don’t sell your personal data … We don’t transfer your personal data to third parties.” She said users own their data and need to have control, adding that people give up data to the government for tax assessment, social services and other purposes.
The dichotomy of logic in this one statement is a pressure plate that will not hold.
Government administration systems are the root of lawful participation in Society. Practices of every entity type are directly affected by norms and expectations. Creating an illusion of "control and ownership" with your left arm, while your right arm is tied behind your back is just not going to work. It is a manipulation of general ignorance. Good, smart people...in growing numbers...sense this as true. When the inherent design of our administrative system entices people to the "dark side", we have a structural problem. Listen to the leaders of our current system design... encrypted communication is the "dark side"... fighting against the unchecked powers of the surveillance state is the "dark side". Compliant transparency as data-slaves = good people with integrity.
Linear thinking is a major problem in our administrative systems. It can not adequately anticipate problems, and it can not appropriately respond to its assessment of risk without dismantling the inherent structure of Rights that the system was built to service and protect.
The structure of Sovereignty itself, as an administrative _expression_ of personal lawful participation... this is the framing issue controlling every conversation. When lunacy speaks candidly that encrypted communication is a Sovereign problem rather than a Right... you understand the structure of the flaw... when it is a "leader" of the current administrative system's design, you sense the void we are running towards.
Get your corporate-robotic-military in order... everyone is going to need one on our current trajectory. Sounds pleasant, eh?
Does a faraday cage count as vrm tech?
How about silence and non-participation?
