In theory there is the 'should', in practice there is the welcomed consensus
vs the unwelcome nut-jobs.

There is no need to decide for one or another.
No need, sure, but I'm curious as to whether an opinion is available.

This forum should also be adult enough to know when to take an errant
discussion off-line.
And is discussion of natural law/rights errant?
Should it be offline for those peculiar folk who are into 'that sort of
thing'?
As Johh Wunderlich said: "Please accept that others don't share your
assumptions and/or don't accept your assertions so they hold different
views, and leave it at that."
While one can admit that nut-jobs have different views to ours, let's not
waste time in errant discussion of them, eh?
To misquote Voltaire, "I may disapprove of what you say, but I will defend
to the death your right to say it". Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
Voltaire is dead, and the understanding of what a right is is mouldering in
a hospice somewhere...
