Probably yes! The problem with any data mining, ad serving supported social network is that it is built based on a a Application Pattern, meant to maximize time to site, and the metrics that are discussed on the links... In the long run this Application Pattern does not make any sense, if you compare it with actual human needs, what VRM apps need in general is human centric Application Patterns that do not copy the existing ones. (and also making apps that "stick", something very difficult!)
