A few months back a friend said, "(So and so) is a waste of time."

Much as I like Robert as a friend, for us he is a waste of time. Worse, what
he and Ben Thompson (below) say about privacy amounts to trolling.

How many comments did Robert get under that post? Hundreds? How many man-days
went into that thread, in sum? Did any of it move Robert — or any
anti-privacy person — off their position?

The anti-privacy crowd doesn't get it, and they aren't going to get it.
Worse, they produce nothing — especially for those they delight in offending.

So I recommend not feeding them.
