'Internet Privacy for Minors' bill from CA Senator Steinberg.

This is the 'Cannot advertise certain things to minors, cannot collect PII on minors, and MUST erase all information held on a minor on request' bill.

No specific mention of 'DNT' header signals in this bill… but it is an important piece of privacy legislation and a historic moment for California and the World Wide Web. If the W3C was paying attention… they really SHOULD add some more 'context' to their signal so that a person's AGE could be signaled and this would constitute the 'being informed a person is a minor' language in SB568. Something like… DNT: 1;age=10

I doubt it will even happen (W3C) but now every content provider needs to start thinking about how old someone is.
