After reading the article I looked up the Linux article referenced https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullshit. 

Trolls appear to use a malevolent form of bs. Red Herrings are more benign. 

Is there an antonym for bullshit?  It might help us understand what tools we need to give advertisers so they can give customers (and potential customers) useful information.
