Keith Hopper turned me on to Russ Roberts back in '07 and I've been a loyal
listener to Russ's podcast ever since. The title of the podcast is EconTalk,
and it's catnip for econ obsessives, but broad enough to interest many more
of us.

It took quite a while, but I finally got to be on EconTalk, and the result is
here: <http://bit.ly/YqIHUA>

The sound, alas, is awful. That's a bummer, but Russ also provides a
transcript. I didn't check to see how accurate it is. Not sure it matters
that much. I tend not to speak in final draft, so reading my words verbatim
often makes me want to bang my head on my desk, as I think of better ways say
whatever it was I said.

Anyway, interesting to read some of the comments. I think the thing struck a
chord. Feel free to weigh in there too.
