I do want to get to the bottom of it, though. There is one list I'm on where the guy who runs the list insisted the problem was at my end, but it turned out that the system he was using had a default set to not send the sender a copy of his or her post. I think that's a bug that shoudn't even be a choice, but there it is.

FWIW My messages to this list never show up until/unless someone responds. I assumed the list is "curated" or that it's a feature.

Far as I know it has always been on, and there is no way to turn it off. But if it really is a problem I'll check.
