I have put some work in to this already, and I am interested but I wont be at IIW this year.  Hmm..... Maybe a conference line?

Hello,

Following the pressure from the "Europe versus Facebook" initiative (see here), Facebook is now offering an automatic form where you can download your data.
Go to https://www.facebook.com/settings, then click on "Download a copy of your Facebook data".

I tried it, and I got a ZIP file with a bunch of HTML files and pictures, obviously only a subset of the actual data.
Basically not more than you would get if you use the "Save Page" functionality of your browser on your own Facebook pages.

I had a good talk with one of the people behind this initiative yesterday and told him a bit about PDEC, FSW, etc...
If there's interest I'll do an IIW session about it :)
