Good catch, Adam. Ironic that the first organized VRM meeting (that I can remember anyway - it was at Google's offices before an IIW about 4 years ago), the one use case everyone agreed to focus on was...change-of-address.
It's a much harder problem than it looks, and I agree that Updater.com is taking a good solid approach to it. My only complaint is that you have to go as far as the FAQ to find out what their business model is. They charge a whopping $5 a year (for a minimum of 3 years) for their Address Privacy service.
Hell, if they can do everything they say they can for $14.99 for three years, it's the bargain of the century. I'd put that right up front in large print on my home page.
