Really? We can't collect affiliate revenue? Certainly I agree that we shouldn't promote one brand over another because they pay (in order to increase our revenue), but to not collect any money? That doesn't seem like it needs to be a core value here. We'd discourage people from investing and starting VRM focused companies!

I agree. In fact I think fourth parties might be characterized (among other things) by being paid (in some way) by the seller.

In any case, we don't want to foreclose on business models. Some we might like more than others, but the table should be big enough for lots of them.
