Hello all,
Did anyone catch this a few days ago?
http://uk.techcrunch.com/2009/04/30/aroxos-21st-century-haggling-engine-will-target-ebay/
These guys are from UK. They've developed a 'haggling engine' that very much
goes along the principles of VRM in terms of shifting the power from supplier
to the user.
Back in Feb 2008, I had a lively dsicussion about very similar concept with
Adriana in New York. While some key (at least in my mind) components to make
this a true VRM system are missing from Aroxo's implementation, I think that
this is a great step in the right direction and a good 'beta test' of the
space.
PS: Execution has some holes, but nothing is perfect i suppose :)
Would love to hear people's comments.
