The Zittrain video is something everyone should watch. Its phenominal what has occurred by and through technology.
And, how the user and manufacturing factions have changed.
The chapters from the Utilization book were equally illuminating -- so much of what is occurring is derivedd from the users whose ideas they are able to act upon without going through or seeking permission from a higher or seemingly better connected source.
Changes are occurring with such rapidity its almost impossible to keep ahead of them all. Especially found the insights on gaming and earning points while actually doing free work was mind boggling.[[User:Ggazelle|Ggazelle]] ([[User talk:Ggazelle|talk]]) 15:47, 21 April 2015 (EDT)

Whether Williams and Thicke actually copied a particular rhythm is known only to them. Both are exceptionally talented so it seems illogical they would need to borrow from any of Gaye's work. It is difficult at times to not become an advocate of isolationism by insisting that the US control all aspects of the Internet. It is similar to those times of monarchies: everyone wants to become king and own it al!
Many of us are accustomed to not having to adhere to a specific governing body. As technology has achieved its global positioning, many entities want their say-so in who is able to do and say what the rest of us must adhere to.
The more systems run smoothy and without intervention from outside sources, the more those sources seem to want to intervene, i.e. defined as interoperability. This is undoubtedly an overly simplistic view and drums up the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" adage.
And, naturally the Comcasts, and other cable providers and suppliers want their pick of who gets what when.

Assignment 1-LST120

For this assignment, I chose the sample Wikipedia article containing paragraphs about Human Resources and Line Management. The two paragraphs negate the Rule of Neutral Point of View.

The verbiage elaborates about responsibilities, activities and tasks of Human Resources and the role of HR in an organization.

The article cites the main goal for human resourcing is to drive innovation, productivity and share price [stock price?]. I was unable to find corroboration or citations for that statement attributed to human resources.

It goes on to describe internal job postings as a time saver utilized by global or international organizations as a means of saving finances and time. There are no cites for this statement.

It gives as an example a company that outsources HR services with no citations, and additionally iterates that ‘many companies’ also outsource with no corroboration or cites.

It cites David Ulriich as a pioneer of Human Resources based on his 1996 book, “Human Resource Champions.” The function of Human Resources as a department or section of an organization began long before 1996.

The Line Management paragraph is another example of not following the neutral point of view in stating that line management is a chain of commands, the difficulty of transferring information from lower ranks to the CEO (info flow is limited) and information is only shared among higher position stakeholders. There are no cites
