Edit a Wikipedia Entry

The assignment:

  • Please find and edit an entry on Wikipedia relating to a topic for which you have some level of expertise. The edits should be more than cosmetic and should actually enhance the substance of the article. See Wikipedia: Introduction for more information.
  • If you feel particularly energetic, add comments to your chosen article's talk page. You can edit the talk page and explain the edit you made to the article page.
  • Following your edits, add to this page a link to the article you edited along with a brief explanation of your changes and the username you used on Wikipedia.
  • Edits must be made by midnight on Thursday evening.
  • Before class on Friday, check your edits and see whether anything has happened to them. Report any changes on this page.
  • If you need a place to start, considering looking for stubs (short articles that need to be expanded).
