General Information

Certificate of Attendance: A formal certificate of participation will be distributed to all participants after completion of the program provided tuition is paid in full. If necessary, a letter of attendance can be furnished upon request.

Dress: Casual dress is appropriate. Participants are encouraged to dress for comfort.

International Participation: Professionals from around the world are invited to participate. However, since courses will be conducted in English with Portuguese translation, a working knowledge of one of these languages is necessary.

Participants should allow sufficient time for processing their visa applications.

Meals: The course fee does not include the cost of meals, except for daily lunch. Le Meridien Copacabana offers a variety of restaurants including the casual Cafe Fleuri Bar Terrasse and the Cafe Fleuri Restaurant & Bar as well as Le Saint Honore for more elegant dining. A breakfast buffet is served from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., while lunch is served from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and dinner from 5:00 p.m. to midnight. If you are staying as a guest at the hotel, the breakfast buffet is complimentary.

Parking and Transportation: Parking is available at Le Meridien for a fee of approximately $5.00 USD per day or $18.00 BRL.

Social Activities: Details will be provided in the orientation kits on your arrival. Casual dress is appropriate for all events and outings.

Withdrawal/Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received on or before March 10, 2003 are eligible for a refund. No refunds can be made after that date. There will be a $150 administrative cancellation fee.
