The most common technologies by which users interact with the world are mobile.  It would not be stretch to say cell phones are the new wallets -- or could be, if users widely adopt user-centric identity technologies. Here are just a few of the questions raised by the Mobile Identity topic:

The Mobile Identity Workshop will be an "unconference" in the tradition of the [http://www.windley.com/events/iiw2006a/announcement.shtml Internet Identity Workshops] and the [http://idmashup.org/ Identity Mashup] held by the Berkman Center last May. We expect many of the same original thinkers and developers will come to this event as well. Discussion will follow the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Space_Technology open space] model.

The Mobile Identity Workshop will be an "unconference" in the tradition of the Internet Identity Workshops and the Identity Mashup held by the Berkman Center last May. We expect many of the same original thinkers and developers will come to this event as well. Discussion will follow the open space model.

There is no fee for participation, but space is limited. Please go to the Sign-Up Page and add your name, with relevant links, to the list.
