PageOneX is an innovative approach to the analysis and visualization of front page newspaper coverage, that enables communities and advocacy groups to track certain news threads in a easy and visual way. The project makes possible the comparison between two important pieces of the mass media and the Social Media: newspaper front pages and Twitter.

Examples of this tool in use could be seen in this gallery, as well a longer text explaining the possibilities of the tool.

Example: #Occupy tweets and newspapers' front pages.

Coder

The coder would work in the implementation of the tool for an online platform. Work: Scrap images from online newspapers, build a data base, display them and let the user participate in a crowd-source coding process. Generate graphics based in the collected data.
