All of us can be both teachers and students. The Berkman Center's audience extends beyond Harvard Law School, beyond Harvard University, to anyone who is curious about computers, networks, or the realm of cyberspace. That is the backbone of H2O, the virtual university we are constructing. We invite you to join us for our future projects.

The first cybercourses the Center offered, Arthur Miller's Privacy in Cyberspace and Terry Fisher's Property in Cyberspace, gave us an idea how H2O might work. They attracted students from 6 continents (creating some time-zone problems for live discussions), and a wide range of viewpoints.

Even as they demonstrated the breadth of resources and interest in cyberspace, these courses also gave hints of the legal problems we might encounter in non-traditional teaching.
