Scratch feedback memo
My experience using Scratch was alternately fun and frustrating. I enjoyed how easy it was to make something graphical that the user could manipulate and play with so quickly. There were lots of characters/costumes and sounds immediately available, which made it a fast transition from nothing to something.
A few things were frustrating for me, particularly having done some coding during my undergrad work at Stanford. First, it took me awhile to figure out how the various commands were categorized under the different menus (sounds, controls, etc.). Second, it was frustrating how to figure out how to make Scratch accomplish some of the structures I have learned in more traditional programming languages.
