Reorganizing the outline given in §89 seems like a good idea, since going through the wording of the statute the order they present doesn't make a logical or interesting argument. Will fill in the structure below as ready.

Mission, Purpose, and Specialized Focus

The mission of the Massachusetts Games Charter School is to teach the strategic thinking skills that lie at the root of informed participation in modern society, through the use of games and their theory, to any and all who wish to learn them; to create a community founded on teaching and learning that is not bound in its architecture to the limitations of physical space; and to invest in its teachers and learners as an expression of confidence in the value such a community produces.

The Massachusetts Games Charter School is predicated on an idea games are intrinsically interesting to young learners, and that teaching strategic games offers opportunity to engage and lead students on to strategic thinking not only within a game structure but also about the nature of game and the code and law and culture in which the game is played. Strategic games offer opportunity to master risk assessment, resource management, an understanding of person and actor, skills that are vital to success in business, politics, international relations, and understanding the interactions that make up civic life. We do not seek to imprint facts or a body of information onto the mind of the student, but rather to students how to make good decisions in a complex an uncertain world, based on imperfect and incomplete information — in short, the life lived at the dawn of the 21st century.

Method of Admission

Students at the Massachusetts Games Charter School (hereafter MGCS) need only be legal adults and those minors with permission of parent or guardian. Each interested student shall register via the MGCS web site, to confirm the student's identity and residency; after this registration information has been verified and confirmed, the student will complete an assessment test to establish baselines of literacy, numeracy, and interest.

Governance

The MGCS shall have a Governing Board composed of educators and parties of interest
