Air conditioning systems are classified according to several parameters:

according to their purpose, they are divided into comfortable (human-oriented) and technological (equipment-oriented); by design features - into autonomous and non-autonomous; by the number of serviced premises - for single and multi-zone; by location - central and local. The determining factor that directly affects the design and installation of air conditioning systems is their division into central and local. Learn more about HVAC repair

In central air conditioning systems, the unit that is responsible for preparing the air is placed outside the serviced premises: on the roof, on floor areas or in specially designated areas. Their representatives are chiller-fan coil systems and multi-zone VRV / VRF systems.

In local systems, air conditioners are installed in serviced premises. Split systems or multi-split systems are most often used as local ones.
