Hirschmann, D., 2009. Technology Essential For Green Jobs & Planet. Intellectual Property Watch. Available at: http://www.ip-watch.org/weblog/2009/05/07/technology-essential-for-green-jobs-planet/ [Accessed July 27, 2009]. Hirschmann, 2009 - A short article in Intellectual Property Watch by David Hirschmann, the President & CEO of the Global Intellectual Property Center, discussing the importance of keeping IPR strong rather than loosening the rights as Secretary Chu had suggested in his speech at Brookhaven National Lab. He notes the expected loss of jobs due to loosening of IPR and points out that this would be counterproductive to President Obama’s mission to create green collar jobs.
