Survey of Usage of the .US TLD
The chart and table below report the market shares of registrars among .US registrations to date. The chart omits registrars with fewer than 100 .US registrations to date.
In the market share chart, each registrar's blue bar reflects its registrations in the first several days of .US registry operations -- its market share among sunrise registrations. Each registrar's red bar reflects its market share in subsequent .US registrations. The vertical sum of the two bars gives each registrar's total registration count in .US, the typical measure of its .US market share.
Note that the vertical axis of the chart takes a logarithmic scale; each "tick" mark reflects daily registration of ten times as many domains as the tick below, as indicated on the chart's left border. Note also that the vertical axis begins at 100 registrations per registrar.
