Conference Overview
The story of the trial, at least one version of it, has been told through the legal system, a best-selling book, and through a Hollywood movie—running the gamut from tragedy to Travolta. Yet, despite the coverage in all media, many parts of the story, and the individual stories of many of those closely connected with the case, have not been told. The Lessons from Woburn Conference is designed both to provide an opportunity to hear those untold stories, to discuss legal and moral questions about the trial itself, and to provide resources for educators who use A Civil Action in their classrooms.
