if you read what Vadasz said to Congress, while he made some
good points about the relative sizes of the computing and
entertainment industry, the need for fair use, and the
foolishness of software design by legislation, he did not
attack the central flawed premise of DRM (that encryption
can be used to protect something from someone who has the
key to decrypt it) but instead claimed that such a system
was both viable and available:
