Does anyone have one of those lexmark printer? Do you have a protocol sniffer 
and don't mind cutting into one of the prebate cartridges to attach some wires 
(BTW..what does the shinkwrap manacle say about cutting up after use?) to the 
pins and recording the sequence of bits?

Now here is an interesting question...what is the legal standing of those bits?

Can one communicate the program to others for discussion and reverse 
engineering? Can one summarize the program? Can one describe the program in 
another computer language? One is not circumventing the access control since 
one is merely recording the electrical impulses and reporting them as FACTS.
