I thought this was only in canada.  (Also, honestly, I buy mode of my MDs
in japan because they are much cheaper there...  a large percentage of my
music was purchased there as well).

btw: did you know that they ENCOURAGE you to copy music to MD there?  

probably because Sony, etc. make the MD players and make money that way
too.
