Somehow I think Feist should apply. Indexing is a purely
mechanical function with minimal human intervention...or should be
(so why did a couple of people I know create the indexes of books
when Grad students? One index was Misner Thorne and
Wheeler...I don't argue copyright protection-only a waste of
valuable resources!)
