Funny you should mention that today. There is an "Ask Slashdot" discussion
today about "Software Tranferability". The discussion delved into the Audio
CD's.
And yes it is illegal to rent any audio recording without the approval of the
copyright holder. ( I hope I get this right) Title 17, Section 109(b)(1)(A).
