Cyberlaw: Difficult Problems Seminar - Fall 2010

Fall term, Block H
M 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Professor Jonathan Zittrain
2 classroom credits LAW-99045A

This seminar will be a vehicle to explore and evaluate current cutting edge issues in Internet law and policy, with the aim of honing three or four problems for further study in a separate class taught during the winter term -- "Cyberlaw: Difficult Problems." Students will be expected to perform creative and independent research in identifying these issues and then fleshing them out in a way that will make them presentable during the winter term.

Prerequisites: at least one course in cyberlaw or copyright. Last year's course site may be helpful in giving a sense of the course for which we will be planning (see http://cyber.harvard.edu/cyberlaw_winter10/).

Students interested in enrolling in this course can access the application web site athttp://cyber.harvard.edu/forms/cyberlaw2011.cgi to apply. The deadline for non-LLM applications is August 1, 2010. Students may apply for the winter difficult problems course, the fall planning seminar, or both.
