Kate Coyer is the director of the Civil Society and Technology Project at Central European University's Center for Media, Data and Society in the School of Public Policy. She will research the role of Internet companies in responding to violent extremism online and the impacts on privacy and freedom of expression, and continue her work supporting access to communication for refugees.
