Backyard Post

Neighborhood-centric information from the Palm Beach Post. Has pages on schools, parks, libraries, properties. News is not presented on the homepage and . Strong map-based navigation. Information is heavily structured: each entity the site focuses on has a particular data structure (standardized test results, demographics, open hours, etc)

Similar to city directories, civic wikis (ArborWiki, Rochester Wiki), but content is not user-contributed. Users can log and have the site present more neighborhood-centric information. Users can start discussions off of their neighborhood pages. An unscientific sample doesn't show a large amount of activity.
