Interns will assist the development of an online multiplayer rpg game called Civic Seed. Interns would have the opportunity to work on back and/or front end web development tasks, including:

  • implementing tests
  • adding new game functionality
  • creating an API for post-game social network features
  • optimizing performance

The back end development is built with Node, Socketstream, MongoDB, redis, and a few other newer technologies. The front end is primarily javascript and html5. Since both the server and client are built with javascript, a strong familiarity with the language is required. Any Node or DB experience is a bonus.
