Breaking the Silence

Marginalized Tech Workers’ Experiences and Community Solidarity (RSM Speaker Series)

RSM welcomes Anika Collier Navaroli for a conversation with Fellow Nadah Feteih on the experiences of underrepresented employees at tech companies (including Trust & Safety workers). The discussion will touch on the way identity influences underrepresented worker experiences within immediate job functions and when serving as internal activists pushing for change during times of crisis. We’ll be covering topics such as retaliation, whistleblowing, compelled identity labor, and the urgent need for tech companies to change the way they respond to and engage with vulnerable individuals and their communities.

This event will be held at the Berkman Klein Center (room 515) from 12:30pm-1:30pm ET. Lunch will be served! In-person attendance is limited to Harvard ID holders, but the general public is invited to attend virtually via Zoom.
