These field trips would be designed primarily to fill the difference in available time between the HLS students who have no other class commitments and the SLS students who have their full winter schedule in effect.

  • eBay office visit: JZ will present & course hear from
  • Computer History Museum
  • Wikipedia Bay Area MeetUp
  • Potential visits to offices of Google, Microsoft, Facebook

Fun Field Trip Ideas:

  • NASA Ames Research Center
    • Singularity University
  • San Francisco:
    • Fisherman's Wharf
    • Alcatraz
    • Golden Gate Bridge
    • Chinatown
