Product vs service, IP vs real property.   If we have such problems
telling the difference in our arguments, it's no wonder Jack has been so
succesful with his "real" world metaphors.

I've never had a vendor co-operate with me in obtaining replacement
software media.  Every time I've tried I got the old "buy our next
version" routine.

Now, I try to have a backup copy of everything.
