That's Quite right about not engaging in (too) much philosophical 
discussion . That never happens here......more to the point is what is 
said at the hearing.....I'm really wondering just what anyone can say 
about the "Consumer Benefits" of DRMs. I suspect that the effect upon 
reading it will be  alternate belly laughs and tears of sadness.

that is a philosophical discussion that we shouldn't engage in here.
like religion, capitalism and other social systems have various
flavours. "pure" capitalism just happens to put money above all else,
just like "pure" religion puts dog above all else. not all capitalists
are greedy bastards, but it sure helps.
