Re: [dvd-discuss] Dion's new CD crashing party for some users

Up until this time playing CDs in computers has been considered FAIR USE.
The illegal act was NAPSTER. This eliminates the fair use. Anyone who
plans on writing to the House Judiciary on digital music may wish to
comment on this....

As for Celine Dion....my recommendation is BOYCOTT. If people don't buy
the record and let Sony know that's why they are not, then that hits them
where it hurts - their financial bottom (line)

Yahoo! News has an article about how Sony's new Celine Dion's cd can crash
a user's computer and how Sony admits to this action. I would think that
this could be considered a "criminal hacking" action and subject them to
civil and criminal legation, couldn't it?
