Take it to Slashdot, Usenet, or private email. Hell, write it on used
toilet paper and send it parcel post, whatever suits your fancy, but
please stop stuffing it in my mailbox with a DVD-Discuss header
attached.

	Participants on this list read your mail to it on the
assumption that said mail will have bearing on the DVD cases in NY and
CA; if you abrogate that trust too often in the service of an
unrelated personal agenda, those subscribers will cease to afford you
the courtesy of readership. (The same goes for any forum focused on a
particular topic.) Unfortunately, many of those subscribers will also
cease to read and respond to the on-topic posts, which will diminish
the list and its usefulness.
